Visiting Curonian Spit

The Curonian Spit is a 98 km long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Cēsis is a town in northeastern Latvia, known for its medieval castle. First built in the 13th century and rebuilt many times since, Cēsis Castle features wall paintings, dungeons and towers with views.
